DNEPROPETROVSK, April 28 (Itar-Tass) —— Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovich urged to take all necessary measures to find the criminals, who committed several terrorist acts here on Friday. Yanukovich held a meeting of the coordination headquarters, which was formed to investigate the blasts, the press service of the headquarters reported on Saturday.
“We should do our best to find the criminals, find the motives of the crime and its goal,” the president noted. He named as an important task to ensure public order and personal security of people, help people injured in the explosions and provide for their qualitative treatment. Yanukovich noted the importance of a well-coordinated work of the law enforcement agencies during the investigation into the terrorist acts. He shouldered the responsibility for efficient results of the work of the coordination headquarters on the general prosecutor and the chief law enforcers, demanding to do all “within short deadlines, qualitatively and for the benefit of people.”
Prosecutor General Viktor Pshonka, Chairman of the Security Service Igor Kalinin, Interior Minister Vitaly Zakharchenko, Deputy Prime Minister and Health Minister Raisa Bogatyreva, head of the presidential staff Sergei Levochkin, Secretary of the Security Council Andrei Klyuev, Governor of the Dnepropetrovsk Region Alexander Vilkul and the chiefs of the local prosecutor’s office and the law enforcement agencies were participating in the meeting of the coordination headquarters.
