NOVO-OGAREVO, April 28 (Itar-Tass) —— Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin offered to encourage the regions to develop the infrastructure of land plots, which were allocated for large families. “It is necessary to encourage the regions to provide these land plots with the infrastructure, otherwise, it will be just impossible to do anything, except for the sale of this land plot and get some money from it,” he said at a regular third meeting to implement the tasks, which were outlined in his election program articles.
“We have already allocated 7,763 land plots and another 31,000 land plots are planned to allocate this year. But we realize that this is not enough too,” he noted.
Speaking on the support after the birth of the third child in the family, the prime minister said that “this support should be targeted.” “This is right and absolutely grounded in social terms. It is necessary to primarily support the families in those regions, where a stable negative demographic tendency is observed, and those families, which need some support, so, the level of their incomes is quite low,” he said with confidence.
Meanwhile, the prime minister believes that the current measures of support to women are not sufficient. “The support for women and the families, which decide to have a baby, the second and third child, moreover, the support by maternity certificates, vitamins and so on and so forth. We have the scope of supporting measures,” he recalled. “But later when the child is born, what to do next? We should think about kindergartens and the level of family incomes,” Putin stated.
Opening a meeting devoted to his election program article entitled “The construction of justice. The social policy for Russia”, the premier offered to discuss the level of salaries in the social sector. “If qualified specialists have to change their jobs, get some extra jobs and the state authorities have to legalize this process, so, perhaps, this is not the best way to solve social problems for people, who provide some services to the population and for those who receive these services,” he believes.
Recalling that over 13 million disabled people live in Russia, 4.5 millions of which are able-bodied people, the prime minister offered to ponder over additional measures of support for them. “We should discuss and think how to support, take more measures for the support for those businesspeople and those employers, which actually want to engage in this work and support people with disabilities and use them in various spheres,” he underlined.
