30 people injured in Dnepropetrovsk blasts

KIEV, April 28 (Itar-Tass) —— Thirty people, including ten children, were injured in the terrorist acts, which were committed in Dnepropetrovsk on Friday, the Ukrainian Health Ministry has made public the specified report to this effect on Saturday.

“The Ukrainian scientific and practical centre of urgent medical aid and emergency medicine of the Health Ministry reported that 30 people, including ten children, were wounded in four blasts in Dnepropetrovsk as of Saturday,” the ministry said in the statement.

The ministry reported that 22 people, including four people in grave condition and seven people in moderately grave condition, are undergoing treatment at the hospitals. The wounded people are getting the necessary full medical aid, the ministry noted.

The alarming situation remains in Dnepropetrovsk. The classes are cancelled at all educational establishments in the city, the schools, vocational colleges and higher educational establishments are put under guard. The security measures are toughened over administrative buildings and life-supporting facilities. Some 700 policemen are patrolling the streets.

Some 14 additional temporary first aid stations are deployed in the city, and reanimobiles were dispatched to the mass venues, chief press officer of the regional state authorities Sergei Milyutin told Itar-Tass on Saturday.

The traffic on the Marx Avenue is closed. No recycle bins is the main inconvenience for the city residents. They were removed from the streets, because all explosive devices were planted in them.

Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovich, who is on the way to Dnepropetrovsk, will discuss the situation in the city with the law enforcers soon.
