Four bombs go off in Dnepropetrovsk, fifth is defused

The explosions hurt 27 people. The condition of one of them is grave

KIEV, April 27 (Itar-Tass) — Official sources have confirmed four explosions in Ukraine’s city of Dnepropetrovsk on Friday.

“According to officially confirmed findings, there have been four explosions in the city. A fifth bomb was rendered harmless,” a police official said.

The explosions hurt 27 people. The condition of one of them is grave.

Panic rumors have interfered with attempts to objectively describe the situation in the city. Earlier, there were rumors of ten explosions and far worse casualties. Local media also reported a shootout near a local shopping center between police and a terrorist.
