GORKI, April 27 (Itar-Tass) — Russian President Dmitry Medvedev stated that he intends to join the United Russia Party.
“I would like to state that I will join the United Russia Party,” he said at a meeting with the activists of the party.
He added that any leader of the party should be its member in the future.
Meanwhile, Medvedev agreed to head the United Russia Party.
“I am grateful for the proposal. I accept it officially,” the president underlined.
