Action “For Ukraine without repressions” started in Kiev

Some 2,000 of supporters of the parties Batkivshyna, Front of Changes and People’s Rukh came out into the city’s central streets

KIEV, April 27 (Itar-Tass) — The action “For Ukraine without repressions” has started in Kiev on Friday. Some 2,000 of supporters of the parties Batkivshyna, Front of Changes and People’s Rukh came out into the city’s central streets. They gathered in European Square and began their march which is to finish, according to the action organizers, near the building of the presidential administration.

Now the column of people with party flags is moving along Grushevsky Street in the direction of the Supreme Rada and the House of Government.

Parliamentary deputies from the Yulia Timoshenko bloc are going at the head of the column. The action participants carry a poster with the picture of the leader of the party Batkivshyna behind bars. A car with a loudspeaker is moving at the end of the column from where the calls: “Freedom to Yulya,” “Yulya - - our president” and “Yanukovich - - to trial” are heard.

Transport traffic from European Square in the direction of the buildings of the parliament and the government is blocked.
