S Ossetian president appoints Khugayev as acting prime minister

He will replace Vadim Brovtsev, who has been dismissed from office

TSKHINVAL, April 26 (Itar-Tass) —— South Ossetian President Leonid Tibilov appointed Rostik Khugayev as acting prime minister.

He will replace Vadim Brovtsev, who has been dismissed from office.

Khugayev will have to submit proposals on the structure of the government.

Under South Ossetian law, the president has to send his nomination for prime minister to parliament for approval.

Until the appointment, Khugayev was president of the Association of Legal Entities “AMOND Group of Companies”. He is a graduate of the Kuibyshev Engineering and Construction Institute where he majored in industrial and civil construction. He has a degree in sociology.
