KIEV, April 25 (Itar-Tass) — Head officials of the Ukrainian penitentiary service have categorically denied using physical force against Yulia Timoshenko, when she was being transported from the Kachanovskaya colony near Kharkov to a hospital of the Ukrainian railways, first deputy head of the penitentiary service Sergei Sidorenko said on Wednesday.

"I assure there was no beating up. The penitentiary service has been conducting its own investigation, and the Prosecutor's office has already completed its investigation," Sidorenko said. "The Prosecutor’s office said a criminal case was turned down because of absence of corpus delicti," Sidorenko said.

On Wednesday the penitentiary service declared that Yulia Timoshenko refused to undergo a forensic examination to certify the injuries on her body. "Timoshenko dodging forensic examination into the alleged fact of beating shows that "there was no beating at all, but it was merely a political game," Sidorenko said.
