MOSCOW, April 24 (Itar-Tass) — President Dmitry Medvedev convenes an enlarged session of the State Council in the Kremlin here on Tuesday. He will deliver a detailed speech on key priorities for Russia's development.

The contents of Medvedev's speech are not dislosed. However, a Kremlin administration source has told Itar-Tass that the address "will be of programmatic ideological nature and contain a generalization of the groundwork laid for the future".

According to the Protocol, the SC session will commence at noon in the St George Hall of the Grand Kremlin Palace. The members of the government, the leading officials of the Presidential Administration, governors, the Chief Justices of Supreme Courts, the Speakers of both Houses of the Federal Assemby (parliament), as well as public figures and businessmen have been invited to be present at the session.

This year, a record-high number of journalists -- 246 media people, among them 30 foreign correspondents -- have been accredited for the coverage of the SC enlarged session.
