MOSCOW, April 23 (Itar-Tass) —— The opposition has applied to the Moscow mayor's office to organize a so-called "March of Millions" and a meeting on May 6, the Left Front's leader Sergei Udaltsov told Itar-Tass.
"In accordance with the application, we intend to march from Triumfalnaya Square on Tverskaya Street and hold a meeting at Manezhnaya Square. The march will begin at 15:00," Udaltsov said.
According to him, the opposition is ready for negotiations with the mayor's office on the route and time to hold the action before Vladimir Putin's inauguration as Russian president.
The application is submitted by the same people who filed applications for meetings last winter. The submission was peaceful, without incidents, the Left Front leader noted.
