IRKUTSK, April 23 (Itar-Tass) —— The Irkutsk international airport cancelled the arrivals and departures of all flights over a strong snow blizzard, which came from central and southern districts in the Irkutsk Region on Sunday. Over 20 flights, including from Moscow and to Moscow, were delayed, the airport press service reported at 15:00 local time.

“Five arriving airliners were sent to the airports in Chita, Bratsk, Ulan-Ude and Krasnoyarsk,” the press service told Itar-Tass.

The runway is being cleaned up from snow. More than ten pieces of machinery are involved in the cleanup. All passengers from other cities were accommodated at the hospitals, the press service added.
