MOSCOW, April 23 (Itar-Tass) —— About 140 tourists can be affected from the activities of the Ideal World tourist company, executive director of the Association of Russian Tour Operators Maya Lomidze told Itar-Tass on Sunday.
“According to unconfirmed reports, the number of tourists, who were affected from the activities of the Ideal World Company, can reach 140 people,” Lomidze noted.
“We can say for sure now that 70 people failed to board the El Al flights at the Domodedovo airport. We received contradictory reports that another 70 people were to fly by the flights of other air companies on Sunday. It turns out to be a total of 140 tourists,” Lomidze noted.
She noted that even if the information is confirmed, the number of affected tourists will reach 140 people and they can hope for compensations.
“All tourists, who failed to fly to Israel over the guilt of the Ideal World Company, can hope for the indemnification of damages, as they have financial guarantees from the Rosgosstrakh Company, which is an insurance company of the foresaid tourist company,” Lomidze underlined.
