Early Unified State Examination beginning in Russia

This year there are about 1,500 school students who want to pass the USE ahead of time

MOSCOW, April 20 (Itar-Tass) — The early Unified State Examination (USE) is beginning in Russia. School graduates will pass the exam in the first of the obligatory subjects - Russian language.

According to the rules, the right to pass the USE ahead of time is given to leavers of evening schools who are conscripted to the army, graduates of general education schools located outside the RF in states with difficult climate conditions, as well as to those who depart for Russian or international competitions, contests and Olympiads. In addition, this category also includes school leavers going to a foreign country for permanent residence or for the continuation of education, or those who during the main USE period are sent for medical treatment.

This year there are about 1,500 school students who want to pass the USE ahead of time. They represent 65 Russian regions, but the majority (over 250 people) are registered in Moscow.

On Monday, April 23, examinations in foreign languages, as well as in geography, chemistry and history will be held. On April 26, the second obligatory examination - in mathematics, will be held. On May 2, the USE will be in informatics and information-communication technologies, in biology, social science, literature and physics. The last day of the early USE will be on May 4 when students will pass exams in all general subjects for those who did not take the USE or has not completed the exam paper for valid reasons (illness or other documentarily confirmed circumstances).

The main period of the USE is from May 28 to June 21, including reserve days. About 800 school leavers plan to pass the exam in this period.
