Ukraine ready to provide planes for NATO troops

Ukrainian transport aviation doesn’t have an alternative to participating in the alliance’s large-scale transit operations

KIEV, April 19 (Itar-Tass) — Ukraine is ready to provide transport planes to airlift NATO troops to Afghanistan, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Konstantin Grishchenko said on Thursday.

Ukrainian transport aviation doesn’t have an alternative to participating in the alliance’s large-scale transit operations, the minister wrote on his page in Twitter.

Grishchenko described Ukraine’s relations with NATO as intensive, meaningful and mutually beneficial.
