Three militants killed in Dagestan

MAKHACHKALA, April 19 (Itar-Tass) — Police liquidated three militants in Dagestan’s Khasavyurt district, when they offered armed resistance.

“Unidentified criminals opened fire at policemen, when they were stopping their car. Three militants were killed in the shootout,” a source in the republic’s law enforcement agencies told Itar-Tass.

At present, militants are being identified.

An investigation is underway.
