MOSCOW, April 18 (Itar-Tass) — An unknown person reported on Wednesday morning that a bomb had been placed at the Shosse Entuziastov metro station in Moscow.

The station was examined. The alarm was false. Police are searching for the "false terrorist", the press service of the Moscow police department told Itar-Tass.

The alarming call was received by the "02" telephone police service at 05:30 Moscow time. Policemen with dogs examined the station and the entrances. No bomb or explosives were found. The station works as normal.

The incident did not impede the train traffic.

A criminal case is expected to be opened on charges of "a false report about a planned terrorist attack".
