MOSCOW, April 17 (Itar-Tass) —— The second meeting of the Russian and Italian ministers of foreign affairs and defence in the “2 + 2” format will be held in Moscow on April 20, an official at the Russian Foreign Ministry said on Tuesday.
Taking part in the meeting will be Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Defence Minister Anatoly Serdyukov from Russia, as well as Minister of Foreign Affairs Guilio Terzi and Minister of Defence Giampaolo Di Paola from Italy, the official said.
“During the upcoming meeting in the ‘2 + 2’ format, the interlocutors will exchange opinions of the key aspects of bilateral and international developments,” the official said, adding, “The four ministers will also map out the basic guidelines of Russian-Italian interaction in the foreign policy and defence spheres.”
“Besides, the schedule of the consultations envisages separate meetings between the two foreign ministers and between the two defence ministers,” the ministry’s official said.
