MOSCOW, April 17 (Itar-Tass) —— Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has thanked the former finance minister, Alexei Kudrin, for professionalism.
Putin addressed the Finance Ministry’s team with warm words at an enlarged collegiums of the ministry on Tuesday. He recalled that in the period of the favorable economic environment the Reserve Fund and the National Welfare Fund were created.
“For this the Finance Ministry largely takes the credit,” Putin said. “I would like to thank the staff of the ministry and the man who was its chief for many years – Alexei Kudrin – for professionalism, firmness, responsibility and commitment to principles in implementing the selected financial strategy and tactics.”
