MOSCOW, April 17 (Itar-Tass) —— The permits were not issued for the overhaul of the industrial buildings at the former experimental plant Greifer (on the ZIL industrial territory) to the owners of the building, namely the Horizon Real Estate Investment Trust and the management company Invest City, the press service of the Moscow construction supervisory agency said on Tuesday.
“The prosecutor’s office is taking investigation actions over the incident. The technical committee is investigating the building collapse,” the press service said.
The investigators found that the ceilings collapsed from the fifth to first floors at 01:46 Moscow time on Tuesday in the illegal concrete works shop at the Proektiruemy Bystreet number 4,062. The building collapsed on 2,800 square meters.
