MOSCOW, April 14 (Itar-Tass) —— A lamp with the Holy Fire has been brought to Moscow from Jerusalem by plane.
The plane landed at 22:49 Moscow time. Two lamps will be lit from the Holy Fire being transported in a special “Olympic lamp” to protect it from wind and rain. One lamp will then go to the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour where Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia is beginning the overnight Easter service. The other lamp will be available for believers to light their candles.
