Second round of talks between Iran and Sextet to be held in Baghdad May 23

BRUSSELS, April 14 (Itar-Tass) —— The second round of talks between Iran and the Sextet of international mediators will take place in Baghdad on May 23, Catherine Ashton, the High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy said after a meeting in Istanbul on Saturday, April 14.

The meeting between Iran and the Sextet (Germany, and five permanent members of the U.N. Security Council: the United States, Russia, China, France, and Britain) took place after a 13-month pause in the talks. Diplomats noted the “constructive attitude” of the sides.
