MOSCOW, April 14 (Itar-Tass) — The UN Security Council “has virtually agreed” a draft resolution on deploying in Syria the advanced group of a UN monitoring mission, the Russian Foreign Ministry reported on Saturday.

The group “will control the regime of a ceasefire”, says the ministry’s commentary. In compliance with the Statement by the president of the UN Security Council of April 5, “its parameters should be agreed by the UN secretary-general with the Syrian government”, the ministry noted.
