PACE doesn’t plan urgent debate on Russian presidential election as yet

Meanwhile, the Assembly will discuss a report of its mission, which monitored the Russian presidential election, in Strasbourg on April 23

MOSCOW, April 13 (Itar-Tass) — The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) does not plan an urgent debate on the Russian presidential election as yet, head of the Assembly election observation mission Tiny Kox said on Friday.

In his words, no such proposals have been made so far but they still may be made by certain Assembly groups.

Meanwhile, the Assembly will discuss a report of its mission, which monitored the Russian presidential election, in Strasbourg on April 23, Kox said. He did not rule out that the PACE Bureau might endorse an urgent debate on the Russian presidential election.
