MINSK, April 9 (Itar-Tass) —— Belarus and Russia have resolved all disagreements over passenger air transportation, Deputy Prime Minister Anatoly Kalinin said on Monday, April 9,after talks between the aviation authorities of the two countries.
“We have resolved all disagreements and additional consultations will be held in September of this year to determine ‘mutually advantageous approaches for the winter period’ when the number of passengers decreases,” Kalinin said.
Russian Deputy Transport Minister Valery Okulov said, “The Belarusian air carrier Belavia will introduce an additional fifth flight between Minsk and Moscow from April 27”.
“We hope that flights between Minsk and Russian regions will also develop and grow in number,” he added.
As for Russian flights to Belarusian regions, Okulov said this issue would be studied and “Russian airlines have the necessary commercial rights”.
The two countries have also agreed on cargo air transportation both in Russia and Belarus and decided to draft additional agreements on this issue.
