United Russia’s roadmap referred to 160 most vital problems

MOSCOW, April 9 (Itar-Tass) —— The United Russia faction at the State Duma adopted a roadmap to implement initiatives of President-elect Vladimir Putin, Deputy Secretary of United Russia’s presidium of the General Council Yuri Shuvalov told Itar-Tass on Monday.

“Today, the presidium has adopted the so-called roadmap for the legislative work referring the priorities, which United Russia believes it necessary to highlight in its work during the spring and autumn sessions, and which are based on the statements Vladimir Putin has made,” he said. “It is a good format for discussions jointly with other factions of the obligations, which presidential candidates, leaders of the factions opposing United Russia, had made. Besides, this would allow considering the list of priority bills.”

“Anyway, the bills we see today as priorities, first of all deal with social and economic development of the country in view of the situation in the world,” Shuvalov said. “They refer to improvement of Russia’s positions in the framework of international organisations, in which this country participates.”

Earlier, Deputy Head of the State Duma, the leader of United Russia faction Andrei Vorobyov said United Russia’s roadmap referred to 160 most vital problems, reflected in Vladimir Putin’s articles.

“Our faction has drafted a roadmap, which includes 160 most vital issues, which Vladimir Putin has outlined in his seven articles,” he said. “We claim organising working groups, participating in design of an algorithm of how, when and how the issues in the articles are to be implemented.”

Vorobyov added United Russia planned to meet with Putin after the spring session to report the work done.
