MOSCOW, April 7 (Itar-Tass) —— The pro-Kremlin Nashi (Ours) youth political movement has denied media reports claiming that it has been dissolved.

“Information on the dissolution of the Nashi movement circulated by some mass media is wrong. The Nashi movement continues operation and will hold its next congress in May. We invite all journalists wishing to learn about Nashi’s further fate to attend the congress,” the movement said on Saturday, April 7.

It also stressed that its activities “do not depend in any way on the wishes of mass media and their ‘sources’.”

“I say officially to all those concerned that a dissolution or closure of the Nashi movement is out of the question. Nashi continues not just to exist but to generate new projects that need to go beyond the movement’s limits,” Nashi spokeswoman Kristina Potupchik said.
