MOSCOW, April 7 (Itar-Tass) —— Residents of the Moscow regions who work in Moscow should pay taxes in the Moscow region, regional Governor Sergei Shoigu said.
“I wish taxes were paid at the place of residence because the bulk of social responsibility rests on the region,” the newly elected governor said on Saturday, April 7.
He stressed that the children of Moscow region residents who work in Moscow go to schools and kindergartens in the region. “And all this must be maintained and built,” Shoigu said.
He will take office on May 11. Until then, incumbent Governor Boris Gromov will run the region.
