CSTO jubilee summit to take place in Moscow on May 15

The CSTO is made up of Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan

MOSCOW, April 6 (Itar-Tass) —— A jubilee summit of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) will take place in Moscow on May 15, Russian Permanent Representative to the CSTO Igor Lyakin-Frolov said upon his return to Moscow on Friday.

He had taken part in the CSTO foreign ministerial conference in Astana, Kazakhstan.

“The meeting in the Kazakh capital city was very successful. Pressing problems were discussed, among them the situation in Afghanistan, Iran and the Middle East,” the envoy said.

The CSTO is made up of Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.
