ASTANA, April 6 (Itar-Tass) —— Kazakhstan is prepared for compromises and a constructive dialog aimed at mutually beneficial decisions, Kazakh Foreign Minister Yerzhan Kazykhanov said at the opening of a CIS foreign ministerial meeting in Astana on Friday.

“We objectively evaluate the CIS capacities and do not overrate them. We also think that the CIS can resolve the most complex tasks if there is a will,” he said.

Astana attributes much significance to CIS cooperation and joint projects and will continue to bolster CIS efficiency and quality, the minister said.

He signed as an example of the constructive approach to the complex matters the signing of the CIS free trade zone agreement he called ‘a breakthrough document’.
