MINSK, April 6 (Itar-Tass) —— Belarus’ national airlines Belavia might appeal to court over the actions of Russia’s air transport authority, Belavia deputy director general Igor Cherginets told Itar-Tass on Friday.
“The Russian side violates the intergovernmental agreement on air service between the two countries. The revocation of our license was illegal,” he said. “We will look at turning to court.”
According to Cherginets, the Belarusian side is also looking at reducing the number of daily flights between Moscow and Minsk to two for each side in the event Russia’s ministry of transport limits the geography of Belavia’s flights.
