MOSCOW, April 6 (Itar-Tass) —— Sergei Shoigu, appointed as the Moscow region’s governor, will form his team within three months, he told the Russian News Service radio station on Friday.
Before taking the office, he plans to choose candidates for the Moscow’s region’s government.
“I can say, I do not have any limitations regarding either the team or anything else. If somebody expects Shoigu to come tomorrow and start waving a sword back and forwards, this is not true. There are professional people, but there are those who should be involved in different things. But this is to be considered accurately. Every person should be analysed,” he said.
Sergei Shoigu supported Boris Gromov in his aspiration to become a member of the Federation Council and to represent the Moscow region there.
“I believe, that over twelve years he at least deserves to be a senator representing the Moscow region,” he said.
Sergei Shoigu will take the office of the Moscow region’s governor on May 11. Before the new governor’s inauguration, Boris Gromov will be managing the region.
