MOSCOW, April 5 (Itar-Tass) — All the four factions at the Moscow region legislature said they would support Sergei Shoigu as governor of the Moscow region.
"Our party has brought forward his candidacy; of course, we'll vote for him," head of the United Russia faction Ivan Zhukov said.
"A decision has been made to support Shoigu," Communist deputy Oleg Yemelyanov said.
"Our faction will support Shoigu," representative of the Liberal Democratic Party Kirill Zhigarev confirmed.
"I decision has been made to vote for the president-proposed candidate, Sergei Shoigu," head of A Just Russia faction Ivan Charyshkin stated.
Earlier on Thursday, Shoigu held consultations with the factions of the regional parliament.
