NAZRAN, April 5 (Itar-Tass) — Police in Ingushetia searched the brick factory where four of the five destroyed militants were employed, a republic's law-enforcement official told Itar-Tass.

According to preliminary information, the militants who worked at the factory were Saludin Muruzhev, 24, a resident of the village of Pliyevo, Zina Vadelova, 56, Shamsudin Gardanov, 30 and Zhunaid Gardanov, 20.

The fifth militant - Salman Gardanov is elder brother of Zhuanid Gardanov. Salman and Zhuaid Gardanov are brothers of Magomed Gardanov, a militant killed in a special operation in Nazran in 2010.

In the evening of April 23, special task force police tried to stop a car in Oskanov Street in Nazran, but its passengers opened automatic fire at the law-enforcers. The police returned the fire, killing all the five persons in the car.

A representative of the National Antiterrorist Committee said demolition experts had found "homemade explosive devices on the bodies of two of the gunmen, a man and a woman. The explosive devices were so-called "suicide belts," apparently meant for terrorist attacks. Their aggregate yield made up some five kilograms of TNT.

The special operation was carried out after the republic's residents tipped police that militants were planning suicide bombers' attacks in the territory of Ingushetia.
