World conference on Juche Idea due in Pyongyang on April 12-13

Juche is the state ideology of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea

PYONGYANG, April 4 (Itar-Tass) — A world conference on the Juche Idea will be held in Pyongyang on April 12-13 within the framework of celebrations marking the centenary of Kim Il Sung’s birth, the organizing committee of the conference announced on Wednesday.

It said renowned political and public activists, representatives from national societies for the Juche Idea from different countries would participate.

“Theoretical and practical issues of fight against imperialisms, for peace and security” will be on the agenda of the forum. “Creating a new peaceful and prosperous society based on the Juche ideas” will be the key topic, the organizing committee said.

Juche is the state ideology of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea. It was developed by President Kim Il Sung, who died in 1994, while Kim Jong Il – a son and official successor to the DPRK leader, continued his studies.

The Juche Idea is based on the belief that man is the master of everything and decides everything. Its followers believe the Juche Idea can bring all people in the world to peace, happiness and prosperity.
