Azerbaijan condoles with Russia over people killed in plane crash

Please accept our sincere condolences, the prime minister said

BAKU, April 4 (Itar-Tass) — Azerbaijan condoles with the Russian people in connection with the death of people in an air crash outside Tyumen, Azerbaijani Prime Minister Artur Rasi-zade said at a meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on Wednesday.

“Please accept our sincere condolences,” the prime minister said. “These are very sad and tragic events.”

Rasi-zade said that Russia and Azerbaijan are traditionally linked by friendship and sincere attitude to each other. “We currently have many young people in our country who know nothing about the Soviet Union,” he pointed out. “Our task is to preserve our relations and pass our experience to the next generations.”
