MOSCOW, April 4 (Itar-Tass) — The members of the expert council to the Speaker of the Federation Council (FC) upper house of the Russian parliament meet for a session here on Wednesday to discuss matters concerning legislative support for the development of the defence sector. The session will be presided over by House Speaker Valentina Matviyenko.
A draft law on the State-placed defence order and probles of refining legisalation in the field of defence industry will be discussed within the framework of the expert council by members of the FC and the State Duma lower house of parliament, by officials of the Audit Chamber of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Economic Development, the Federal Agency fot State Reerves, the directors of major ptoduction associations of the defence sector, and by scientists.
The State Duma is expected to consider the draft law on State defence order in the first reading in May.
