Dead body of newborn boy found in snow in Taishet

His body was buried in snow. There were no signs of violent death

IRKUTSK, April 3 (Itar-Tass) — The dead body of a newborn boy was found in a square in front of the railway station in the town of Taishet, Irkutsk region, a spokesman for the regional administration of the Russian Investigations Committee said on Tuesday.

“The baby was found with no cloths on. His body was buried in snow. There were no signs of violent death. Experts say the boy died of cold some two days ago,” the spokesman said.

According to experts, the baby was not born in a hospital.

A criminal case was opened on murder charges. An investigation is underway.
