Oil spill happens in Vladivostok’s centre

According to preliminary estimates, 60-70 kilograms of fuel oil spilled into the sea

VLADIVOSTOK, April 2 (Itar-Tass) — An oil spill happened at Zolotoy Rog Bay in the centre of Vladivostok, when the Majestic refrigerator refuelled from the Patroclus tanker, the press service of the Far Eastern transport prosecutor’s office told Itar-Tass on Monday.

According to preliminary estimates, 60-70 kilograms of fuel oil spilled into the sea.

Rescuers are installing boom containment around the leakage.
