MOSCOW, April 1 (Itar-Tass) —— Seven-year-old Ilya Yaropolov abducted from a kindergarten in Krasnokamensk five days was found in Perm.
“The boy was found at a bus stop,” Russian Investigation Committee spokesman Vladimir Markin said. “He was examined by an ambulance team and a psychologist. The boy was brought home safe and sound.”
The Perm territorial department of the Russian Investigation Committee continues to investigate the case. An unknown woman abducted the boy at about 1:00 p.m. on March 27, and the boy’s mother made a statement to the police in the evening of the same day. A criminal case was opened on the abduction charges. The abductor was described as a woman 18 to 20 years of age, about 160 centimeters in height, black hair. She was wearing a black sport jacket and black jeans.
About 1,500 people took part in the search for the boy. More than 300 residents of the neighborhood answered police questions, and records from three video cameras were analyzed. The governor promised a reward of one million rubles for reliable information about the boy’s whereabouts.
