TASHKENT, April 1 (Itar-Tass) —— A MQ-Servis gas station blasted in downtown Tashkent, not far from the international airport, at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, the Uzbek media said.
Eyewitnesses reported a fuel reservoir explosion. The police cordoned the explosion scene and blocked an exit to the airport. There is no information about possible casualties.
Emergency Situations Ministry specialists and doctors rushed to the explosion scene. Firemen put out the blaze. Some sources claimed there were two explosions, not one.
