United Russia nominates 3 candidates for governor of Moscow region

MOSCOW, March 30 (Itar-Tass) —— The United Russia Party offered to Russian President Dmitry Medvedev three candidates for governor in the Moscow Region, namely Minister of Emergency Situations Sergei Shoigu, mayor of the Reutov town Alexander Khodyrev and first deputy prime minister of the Moscow regional government Igor Parkhomenko, the leader of the United Russia faction in the State Duma Andrei Vorobyev told reporters after a meeting of the United Russia General Council presidium here on Friday.
