NOVO-OGAREVO, March 30 (Itar-Tass) —— Norway’s Statoil and France’s Total can implement new projects in Russia, Russia Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said at a meeting with Statoil CEO Helge Lund and Total CEO Christophe de Margerie here on Friday.
Russian Deputy Prime Minister Igor Sechin also attended the meeting.
“I would like to speak today about our joint plans to develop the Shtokman field, and can certainly discuss Haryaga, where we hope to increase the production output. We can also discuss probable joint projects with Statoil, as different variants on various sections are probable there,” he said opening the meeting.
