KRASNOYARSK, March 30 (Itar-Tass) — A teenager suddenly died during competitions in a gym in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The 14-year-old boy was an orphan and was a pupil of boarding school No 2 in the city of Norilsk, the press-service of the Russian Investigative Committee’s (SK) department for the territory.
It explained that the tragedy occurred on Thursday in a gym of the special physical training department of the civil defence and emergencies administration of the Taimyr municipality.
“According to preliminary data, during competitions the juvenile was doing an exercise with a skipping rope. At this point he suddenly felt bad, lay down on the floor and died. According to the coach, the boy was regularly passing medical examination and never before had any health problems,” the regional SK department added.
All the circumstances of the incident are being ascertained. A procedural decision will be made on the inquiry results.
