5th BRICS summit to be held in South Africa in 2013 – declaration

NEW DELHI, March 29 (Itar-Tass) — The 5th BRICS summit (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) will take place in South Africa in 2013, according to a declaration adopted by the leaders of five countries on Thursday.

“Brazil, Russia, India and China thank South Africa for the proposal to host the 5th summit in 2013. They intend to provide multifaceted support for it,” the declaration says.

Till now the BRICS presidents and the prime ministers have made up a plan of action that includes 20 points on organising different meetings, conferences and seminars.
