KHABAROVSK, March 29 (Itar-Tass) —— An earthquake with a magnitude of up to 4.3 occurred in Yakutia’s Neryungrinsky region on Thursday. Underground tremors were registered 80 kilometers to the north-east of the settlement of Chulman at a depth of 15 kilometers, ITAR-TASS learnt at the Main Department of the Ministry for Emergencies of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).
The Center of the Crisis Situations Department received the information on the earthquake at 12.18 local time (06.18 Moscow time). Tremors were not felt in the settlement of Chulman. There are no victims or destructions. Vitally important facilities are working in the normal regime.
