SARATOV, March 29 (Itar-Tass) —— A Yak-40 with 52 passengers on board made an emergency landing at the airport of Saratov on Thursday.
“The aircraft, which operated flight 760 from Saratov to Moscow took off at 06:52 Moscow time. In 14 minutes, the crew made a decision to return and land in Saratov, as they suspected disorders in the middle engine,” the Volga region’s branch of the Interior Ministry transport department said.
The aircraft landed safely, no victims are reported.
Now, specialists are testing the aircraft to find out the reasons of the failure. The passengers, who chose to continue the flight, used another aircraft, and at 08:49 they all left for Moscow.
