MOSCOW, March 28 (Itar-Tass) — Since March 15 Macedonia has cancelled visas for Russian citizens for a year upon condition that Russians arrive in the republic for a term of 90 days, the Russian Foreign Ministry reported on Wednesday.
Thus, Russian citizens will not submit visas, tourist vouchers or originals of invitations on the border of the republic within the period from March 15, 2012 to March 15, 2013. “It will be enough to have an unexpired passport, an insurance policy and money for the stay in the country,” the ministry said.
At the same time, the ministry said this decision “will not cancel the need to receive visas for Russian citizens, who intend to do business on the territory of Macedonia or who intend to study at Macedonian educational institutions”.
