The website www.islamcom.ru posted the article devoted to the role of woman in the Jihad on behalf of Yusuf Al Iyeri in the open access

MOSCOW, March 28 (Itar-Tass) —— The searches were made in the office of the head of the Islamic committee Geidar Jemal within the investigation into the criminal case over the appeals to terrorism, the public relations centre of the Federal Security Service told Itar-Tass on Wednesday.

“The investigation service of the Federal Security Service department in Moscow and the Moscow Region is investigating a criminal case over public appeals to terrorism or public justification of terrorism and public appeals to extremism,” the public relations centre said.

According to the findings of the preliminary investigation, the website www.islamcom.ru posted the article devoted to the role of woman in the Jihad on behalf of Yusuf Al Iyeri in the open access. The author of the article gave examples of the involvement of women professing the Islam in terrorist actions, particularly against Russian servicemen in Chechnya and urges the readers to follow their example.

“The Institute of Criminal Science of the centre of special machinery of the Federal Security Service concluded that the foresaid article contains the appeals for ideological (political) struggle and the statements to find the practice of terrorism needed to spread,” the public relations centre said.

“The detectives found that the article was posted on the website from a personal computer at the office of the interregional public movement Islamic Committee, which is headed by Geidar Jemal,” the public relations centre said.

On March 27, under the court verdicts of the FSB investigation service in Moscow and the Moscow Region the searches were made at the actual place of residence of Jemal and the place of his permanent registration. Electronic information mediums were confiscated,” the FSB public relations centre reported.
