Deputy head of Osa district authorities killed in Irkutsk region

The blood stains were found in a car not far from this place

IRKUTSK, March 28 (Itar-Tass) — Deputy head of the Osa district authorities in the Irkutsk Region Sergei Moskvitin was killed in his office car, a source in the regional investigation department of the Russian Investigation Committee told Itar-Tass on Wednesday.

He was found dead on the roadside of the Ust-Uda-Irkutsk highway. The blood stains were found in a car not far from this place. The man was hit with a heavy object on the head.

On Monday evening, Moskvitin was driving home in his office car. On the next day the law enforcement agencies were informed that he is missing. The detectives believe that the official was attacked in order to seize his office car for further sale.

“Two suspects in the crime, namely the men aged 27 and 29 years, were exposed. They are residents of the settlement of Osa. The investigation actions are being taken to find all details of the murder,” the source underlined.
