TSKHINVALI, March 27 (Itar-Tass) —— The South Ossetian Central Elections Commission has signed the final report of the first round of the presidential election held on March 25, the Commission told Itar-Tass.
“The report says there will be two candidates in the second round of the South Ossetian presidential election – Leonid Tibilov, who gained 42.48% of votes in the first round (11,453) and David Sanakoyev who gained 24.58% of votes (6,627),” the Commission said.
The Commission scheduled the second round of the presidential election for April 8. The candidates may start canvassing on Wednesday.
